Gas Tech Plumbers Ltd is a family-run heating and plumbing company based in Burnley. We're Gas Safe registered, manufacturer-accredited, and proud to be the team Lancashire homeowners recommend to friends and family.

What started as a one-van outfit in Burnley back in 2019 has grown into Lancashire's go-to team for boilers, central heating, plumbing and emergencies. But the principles haven't changed: turn up when we say we will, charge what we quote, and clean up before we leave. The bulk of our work still comes from referrals — neighbours telling neighbours, landlords ringing back, families using us across two and three generations.
Every Gas Tech engineer is Gas Safe registered and trained as an approved installer for Worcester Bosch, Baxi, Vaillant and Ideal. That means manufacturer-backed warranties of up to 12 years on new boiler installs, and an engineer who actually knows your boiler inside out when something goes wrong. We carry the most common Worcester, Baxi, Vaillant and Ideal spares on the van — which is why our first-visit fix rate sits at around 85% on repair call-outs booked before 11am.
We work in homes every day. We treat them like ours: dust sheets down, shoes off, kettle on (if you offer) and a proper handover at the end of every job. No upselling that wasn't on the quote. No surprise charges after the work. No subcontractors — every job is done by an in-house Gas Tech engineer with our name on the van and our reputation on the line.

Fixed-price quoting
Every quote we send is a fixed price for the work agreed — not "from £" or "+VAT to be confirmed". If we discover something mid-job that genuinely changes the scope (rare), we stop, explain it and get your sign-off before continuing.
85% first-visit fix rate
We carry the common spares for Worcester Bosch, Baxi, Vaillant and Ideal on every van — fans, PCBs, ignition leads, expansion vessels, condensate pumps, the lot. Most repairs are diagnosed and fixed the same visit, not "we'll order the part".
Manufacturer accredited
We're approved installers for Worcester Bosch, Baxi, Vaillant and Ideal. That matters because manufacturer warranties (10-12 years on the top tiers) are only valid if installed by an accredited engineer — and we register your warranty for you at no charge.
Family-run, locally based
Gas Tech is family-owned and run from Burnley. We're not a national franchise with a call centre in Watford. Ring our number and you'll speak to someone who lives 10 minutes from you, knows the M65 junctions and the back streets of BB10 / BB11 / BB12 / BB9.

Our story
From one Burnley engineer to Lancashire's recommended team.
Gas Tech Plumbers was founded in 2019 by Shamshul Noor, a Gas Safe engineer with more than two decades on the tools across Lancashire. The original plan was simple: build a small heating company that genuinely showed up on time, quoted fixed prices and didn't play the games the trade is famous for. No "we'll send the apprentice", no "the parts are an extra two hundred", no "we'll be there between 8am and 6pm".
The work spread by word of mouth. A landlord with three rentals in Burnley introduced us to a letting agent. The agent introduced us to another. A boiler swap for a family in Padiham led to their parents in Nelson, then a cousin in Blackburn. Within a couple of years we'd outgrown one van and added a second engineer — Mohammed Alhamza Noor, also Gas Safe registered, who handles much of the day-to-day plumbing and second-engineer install work.
Today, Gas Tech covers all of East Lancashire and the Greater Manchester border — Burnley, Padiham, Nelson, Colne, Brierfield, Clitheroe, Accrington, Blackburn, Darwen, Haslingden, Rawtenstall, the Rossendale valley and out to Bury, Rochdale and Preston. We're still small enough that the same engineer who surveys your install fits it, services it next year and answers the phone if something goes wrong in five years' time — and we want to keep it that way.
We're registered with Gas Safe (Company No. 305612) and incorporated at Companies House under No. 12316609. Our public liability insurance is current and we'll happily share certificates on request. Reviews are collected on Google and Trustpilot — never asked for in exchange for discounts, never moderated, never filtered. If we've ever let a customer down (it does happen) the review is there for you to read alongside the 1,000+ positive ones.

From our base on Casterton Avenue in Burnley (BB10), our daily route covers the East Lancashire postcodes BB1 through BB12, the Hyndburn corridor, the Ribble Valley to Clitheroe, the Rossendale valley, down to Bury and Rochdale, and west to Blackburn, Darwen and the Preston outskirts. We cover 25+ towns and villages between them.
