For gas fire installation in BB7.
Clitheroe and the wider Ribble Valley is the most affluent part of our coverage area — Whalley, Sabden, Waddington, Chatburn, Downham, Slaidburn — and the housing here reflects it. We do plenty of premium boiler installs (Worcester Bosch 8000s with full smart controls, Vaillant ecoTEC Plus paired with Megaflo unvented cylinders) for the larger detached homes throughout BB7.
Modern gas fires are far more efficient than the old radiant fires and back-boiler units still found in many Lancashire terraces — glass-fronted models reach 80–90% efficiency compared with around 20–50% for a traditional open-fronted fire. The most important part of any install is the flue: every fire we fit is surveyed and smoke/spillage tested so fumes go up the chimney, not into your lounge.
Every gas fire installation job in Clitheroe is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer (No. 305612), priced upfront and backed by our 12-month workmanship warranty. Call 01282 914 044 or message us on WhatsApp.

Victorian terrace in Clitheroe still running a 1980s back boiler behind a radiant fire. Removed both, fitted a combi in the kitchen and a high-efficiency glass-fronted gas fire in the lounge — smoke and spillage tests passed first time.
New-build in Whalley with no chimney. Fitted a balanced-flue hole-in-the-wall gas fire through the external wall, with a neat terminal guard outside and a CO alarm in the lounge.
Customer in BB7 wanted a like-for-like inset living-flame fire. Swept-chimney certificate checked, new fire fitted, coals laid to the manufacturer pattern and flue spillage tested.
Smell gas or CO alarm going off?
Turn off appliances and the gas at the meter, open windows, don't use switches or flames, and call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999. Once it is made safe, we can repair the fault.

It depends on the fire, your chimney or flue and whether an old fire or back boiler needs removing. We do a free survey anywhere in BB7 and give you a fixed price before any work starts.
Yes — many older Clitheroe terraces still have a back boiler behind the gas fire. We remove it, fit a modern combi elsewhere and fit a new fire, or open up the fireplace if you prefer.
We test every chimney before connecting a fire. If it fails, options include sweeping, a flue liner, a balanced-flue fire through an outside wall or a flueless fire with the right ventilation.
We cover Clitheroe same-day in most cases from our Burnley base. Surveys are usually within a few days, and most fires are fitted in a single day.
Gazco, Flavel, Valor, Legend, Crystal, Kinder, Be Modern and most UK brands — or we can fit a fire you have already bought if it suits your chimney or flue.
